Carpet cleaning - user instructions
Prior to cleaning

Check your equipment! You will need "CRB" machine(s) including the Renovators; spare brushes (soft and/or stiff), cleaning compound, F-1000 Encapsulator, Bonanza stain remover, RM1 (rust remover), vacuum cleaner(s). Other optional accessories as per your choice.

Dilute the F-1000 Encapsulator 1:8* (heavy soil) or 1:16* (light to medium soil) and fill into spray tank or spray bottle.

1:8 (1 part of cleaner to 8 parts of water)*

1:16 (1 part of cleaner to 16 parts of water)*

Make sure the cleaning compound is evenly moist inside original package or container. If you are using 24.25 lbs. pails or 35.2 lbs. boxes, turn them upside down or store them sideways for approx. 10 minutes to assure redistribution of the moisture properly. THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ACHIEVE BEST CLEANING RESULTS.

Choose the appropriate brush grade suited for the carpet fibers; the carpet you are about to clean may require soft, standard or aggressive brushes.
If you are new to our cleaning system, please ask for our document “brush recommendation”.

1
Carpet pre-cleaning/sweeping (optional)

Use the "CRB" cleaning machine with the Renovators attached. Brush the carpet surface/fibers in all directions (without using any chemicals). This will pick up the dry soil and prep the carpet pile. Pre-cleaning is especially recommended in case of heavily soiled areas. It helps to reduce the amount of cleaning chemicals needed and will improve the cleaning results.

2
Carpet pre-spraying

Use the diluted F-1000 Encapsulator and spray onto the soiled areas and stains. Use enough product to moisten the carpet, but do not saturate the carpet. Apply more on heavily soiled areas and stains, spray less on other areas.

Do not spray more than 150 – 200 Sg. Ft. prior to sprinkling/applying the cleaning compound. The carpet has to remain moist for a good cleaning result !!

3
Sprinkle the cleaning compound

Sprinkle the cleaning compound onto the pre-sprayed (and still moist) carpet. As an average, use approx. one handful of compound for 10 (ten) Sq. Ft..of carpet to be cleaned. Use more on heavily soiled areas, use less on other areas as needed. Cleaning compound is not needed on clean parts of carpets. Cleaning compound works exceptionally well as booster in order to remove traffic lanes on carpets.

Do not apply and cover more than 150 – 200 Sq. Ft. of cleaning compound onto area to be cleaned prior to brushing with "CRB" machine! The cleaning compound has to remain moist for best cleaning results !!

4
Brush-in the cleaning compound

Use the "CRB" machine with the appropriate brushes suited for the cleaning job. Take off the Renovator attachments and attach the dust covers on front and back of machine. Take the "CRB" machine off the transport trolley, place onto the carpet and start brushing – ideally in a zigzag pattern covering the complete carpet surface. Brush repeatedly on heavily soiled areas and stains, brush less on other areas.

5
Collect the saturated compound

Remove the dust covers from the machine and re-attach the Renovator attachments on front and back of machine. Start collecting/recovering the saturated cleaning compound immediately after the brushing-in is completed or any time thereafter. Empty the Renovator attachments once full. To clean corners along baseboards and other hard to reach places you may need the help of a vacuum cleaner and/or side attachments.

Stain Removal

Upon complete recovery and removal of cleaning compound from carpet, check the carpet for persisting stains.  Use our products Bonanza Heavy Duty Stain Remover, F1000 or RM1 (depending on the nature of the stain) in order to permanently remove them.
